I Am An Alien From Outer Space

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Jane Sanzel looks like an ordinary woman, but she's a space alien who took over a human's body back in 1950!

The 46-year-old computer programmer says she was born as an extraterrestrial named Mujoss, 74 Earth years ago on the planet Wa-shumm.

When Mujoss was 28, she was working as a propulsion engineer on the Deliwan, a spaceship investigating civilizations in deep space.

One fateful day, the Deliwan developed engine trouble and began to disintegrate in Earth's atmosphere.

"The crew and I were forced to vaporize into the bodies of Earth people," she says. "I recall the very day: July 30, 1950."

Mujoss invaded the body of 2-month-old Jane Sanzel and she's been Jane ever since.

"It was fairly easy to adjust to life in middle America," says Jane. "The United States government, like Wa-shumm's, is democratic and people here live compatibly in neighborhoods similar to the ones on Wa-shumm."

According to Jane, Wa-shumm is an Earth-like world situated in the Sirius B System of the constellation Canis Major.

Whole neighborhoods exist in bubble-like domes that can be disassembled, moved and reassembled in less than two hours.

Jane says the people of Wa-shumm have a peaceful nature and their only enemies are a tribe of intelligent 16-foot-long centipedes that paralyze their victims and eat them alive.

"The things have even invaded Earth," Jane explains.

"But so far they've only attacked cattle in South America and certain very remote areas of Asia.

"On Wa-shumm, when the centipedes attack, residents move out to sea __ stopping their land-bound enemies in their tracks.

"Fortunately Wa-shummians' bodies can adapt to living on land or underwater, because they have gills within their lungs, two circulatory systems and two hearts.

"They eat fish and plants from the sea and also grow vegetables hydroponically on the land."

The biggest Earth thrill for this extraterrestrial is going to the movies.

Her favorite film: E.T., of course.

"I identify with E.T.," Jane says. "Like him, despite making good friends here on Earth, I long to return to my home.

"My only consolation is in knowing there are more of my crew members here walking this planet.

"I live with the hope that someday I'll meet some of them again."
