The townspeople ambushed their 3-foot-tall prisoner when a sheriff and two deputies stumbled across an abduction in progress. They're refusing to release the alien until the space creature's cronies promise to leave town for good!
"Just because we're out here in the middle of nowhere, these space freaks think they can buzz into our town and experiment on us like we were lab rats," says tough-talking Constable Anthony Albans. "Well, we're showing them that we aren't going to take that kind of treatment.
"We've got one of their little green men and they're going to have to negotiate to get him back. I want them to feel what it's like to have a friend in the hands of strangers from another planet."
Tanami, a town of 5,000 people located in the desolate Australian outback, has suffered a whopping 49 UFO abductions over the past two years. Witnesses and abductees say the spacemen travel in a starship with red and blue lights. They usually corner their victims at night, immobilize them with a special light ray, give them an injection to knock them out and then beam them aboard their starship for several hours of experiments and examinations.
Victims of the abductions have suffered horrible mutilations and emotional trauma and one victim died from injuries inflicted by alien "scientists."
"When we caught them trying to abduct a little girl two blocks from the public library, we snuck up on one of them and grabbed him," Constable Albans said. "Since we caught him three weeks ago, we've seen nothing of the UFO. When they contact us - if they do - we're going to give them a piece of our mind."
